Travel Management Company in Sandton is looking for a Credit Controller with experience with debtors’ recons and queries and general accounting principles. Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Experience required:

  • Knowledge of Excel
  • General Accounting Principles
  • Experience in preparing debtor reconciliations and resolving queries
  • Experience in a debtor’s department in the Hospitality Industry is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Tourplan is advantageous.

Duties include:

  • Accurate allocation of payments received via the various channels available
  • Actively collecting payments according to payment terms
  • Assisting with Tourplan queries
  • Reviewing the Debtors’ Age Analysis fortnightly and providing detailed feedback
  • Attending monthly Debtors Review meetings
  • Send invoices, account statements and payment reminders to agents
  • Escalating and resolving queries in line with predetermined internal processes
  • Conduct monthly debtor reviews
  • Reviewing unallocated cash weekly
  • Debtors Reconciliations
  • Weekly Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end processes.
