Inbound tour operator is looking for a systems reservations administrator who will also be required to maintain and give training on a point-of-sale and a stock control system.

Responsibilities

  • System (CRS/PMS/POS) training internally & lodges/boats.
  • Database administration and support globally.
  • Agent and Rate Management.
  • Maintenance and development of system & processes in conjunction with business requirements.
  • Reporting tool enhancements.
  • Effective communication with all customers during issues/downtime/maintenance.
  • Version control of eRes with regression testing controls.
  • Manage your inbox in the most effective way using the category system.
  • Ability to work un-supervised and under pressure.
  • The position is based in Joburg but traveling to neighbouring countries will be required occasionally for projects and deployments.

Previous Experience:

  • Information Systems experience critical
  • CRS, PMS, POS Systems management & deployments of them.
  • Support of Information Systems in call center environments.
  • Systems development / specifications enhancement skills beneficial.
  • Writing RFC’s or spec documents beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Training skills for individuals or groups beneficial.
  • Administration, database and reporting experience essential.
  • SQL knowledge essential.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry an advantage.
  • Good English communication and written skills.
