Travel agency is looking for a a Head of Business Development.

  • To manage the new business sales strategy.
  • To achieve new business targets.
  • To manage end to end sales strategy in agreed sectors.
  • Ensure that such budgets are achieved.
  • Manage the onboarding of newly acquired clients.
  • Attend regular monthly product presentations, Finance & Administration and Operations meetings as and when required.

Experience & Duties:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
  • At least 10 years sales/account management experience within the travel industry.
  • At least 2 years previous experience in a customer relations position within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Excellent presentation skills, negotiation and relationship building skills with strong commercial awareness.
  • Minimum four days per week in office.
  • Attend meetings/functions and any other events as required. ¬†After hours and weekend activities will be expected in this regard.
  • National and international travel will be required.
  • Attend all Management retreats.
