Job Description
- To supervise, oversee, coach, mentor and support a team of consultants on all aspects of travel consultancy, including fares.
- Monitor and manage all ADM’s, PIR’s, Accounting queries and refunds.
- Perform daily briefs and de-briefs.
- Manage cost versus expenditure (budgets etc.)
- Constantly monitor workflow and ensure output is timeous / accurate and complete.
- Continuously monitor capacity with the teams and ensure effective allocation of the accounts and workload.
- Guiding and assisting all consultants within the team with problems and queries.
- Conduct performance appraisals.
- Understand and analyse reports, to identify error trends.
Qualifications: Matric. Relevant travel qualification an advantage.
Skills: Minimum 6 years’ experience in a TMC as a Travel consultant with at least 2 years as a Team Leader dealing with corporate clients. Extensive domestic, regional and international geographic knowledge. Amadeus preferred.
